Feast of the Most Holy Trinity
This weekend we are celebrating the feast of the Blessed Trinity. We begin and end our Mass in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We celebrated the Trinity, the family of God, with love and trust.

We wish every blessing to Sarah Cullen, Garranbehy and to Ivor Scully, Tullamore who were married in Rosbercon Church, on Saturday 1st June 2019. May they enjoy a long and rewarding married life together.
During the coming weeks we will pray for the welfare of all students taking examinations. May the Holy Spirit be their strength and guide their minds at this time.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel every Wednesday morning from 10am to 12pm. All are welcome to attend.
Many thanks to all who contributed to the Annual Summer Envelope Collection for the support of Fr Dan. Outstanding envelopes should be handed in at Mass or to the Parochial House.
There will be a meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council in the Parochial House on Thursday 4th July at 7.30pm.
The Blessed Trinity: We cannot understand the mystery of God in Three Persons. We can, however, enjoy the incredible beauty of God the Father in his creation. We cannot understand how a baby born in Bethlehem could be God but we can read with awe the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. We cannot understand the Holy Spirit that Jesus said he would send us but there have been times when that Holy Spirit has enveloped us in his love.

The Trinity by Patrick Kavanagh
“Yet sometimes when the sun shines through a gap,
These men know God the Father in a tree.
The Holy Spirit is the rising sap,
And Christ will be the green leaves
That will come
At Easter from the sealed and guarded tomb”.

Let your light shine
The most important thing about each of us
is our capacity for goodness.
We can be a source of light for people.
We can have hands that can care,
eyes that can see, ears that can hear,
tongues that can speak, feet that can walk,
And above all hearts that can love.
Unfortunately, through thoughtlessness, selfishness,
and cowardice, our light can be dimmed,
So that we become shadows of the people we could be.
Lord, help us to believe in our own goodness,
And to let the light of that goodness shine.
On seeing this light others find their way,
And you will be glorified.
Wisdom: “If God were not willing to forgive sins, heaven would be empty”.
Humour: A wise old parishioner suggested to the parish priest that there was no need to build a wall around the graveyard because he said that those outside don’t want to get in and those inside can’t get out.
