Everybody loves to be remembered.
But if we want to be remembered
We have a duty also to remember.
Memory is a powerful thing.
Wrongly used it can bring death rather than life.
Rightly used it is a form of immortality.
It keeps the past alive.
Those we remember never die.
They continue to walk and talk with us.
Their influence is still felt among us.
There is nothing stronger or more helpful
than a good remembrance.
We remember all who have died.
And their memory most definitely brings life to us today.
Wisdom: “There are two educators: the one that teaches us how to make a living and the one that teaches how to live”.
Humour: The young boy of sixteen thought his father was so foolish that he could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when he got to twenty-one he was astonished at how much his father had learned in five years!

Our annual Church door collection will take place at all Masses within the parish on the weekend of the 7th/8th December next. We greatly appreciate all donations received. It is important to note all money received without exception goes towards the assistance of those resident within our parish in urgent need usually in the form of food or assistance towards children’s clothing, footwear or school books costs. At Christmas time we also like to give a few bags of coal primarily to elderly and deserving persons living alone within our parish who’s sole income is usually their pension which provide little money for winter heating costs. Any parishioner who becomes aware of such need within our parish please let any of the following committee members know; Seamus Waters, Mary B Conway, Bríd Vereker, Catherine Cottrell and Richard McElwee, who will deal with the situation with discretion or by contact on our special help line 087-7140112.
